  I ordered six dozen cupcakes for my wedding this past weekend and I can't begin to describe how amazing they were. The incredible listing of flavors allowed me to order all of my immediate family's favorites. From German Chocolate for my dad to Lemon for my new mother in law, everything was amazing. My personal favorite is peanut butter and that peanut butter cream was to die for. My husband wished we would have gotten another dozen of the apple pie. I have gotten so many compliments from my guests, I will definitely be using Cupcake Girlz again in the future for all my events.

  I ordered custom cupcakes a few weeks ago and when I placed my order on the phone I told the lady I need a label that states peanut free, but free, etc as they are for my 2 years old class at day care. So two days before I am due to pick up my order I send Karen an email to confirm the cupcakes will have a label as I wasn't going to be the one picking them up. She then tells me that the cupcakes will say peanut free but they cannot guarantee peanut free cupcakes as their facility carries nuts! So before I get pissed off I call the director of the daycare to ask if this would be ok she says no! So now I can't use the cupcakes but they neglected to tell me the day I ordered that there might be cross contamination of the cupcakes. Long story short Karen took no responsibility for this miscommunication and refuses to refund my money. She contradicts herself by saying "we told u the cupcakes would be peanut free but we can't guarantee they are peanut free" so why on gods green earth would u tell me the cupcakes are peanut free???? Then she tells me The order is non refundable as noted on their order form contract .... What contract Karen? I didn't sign any contract or see any order form contract. Then she tells me to be considerate for the work they put in! This lady must be delusional. I told her how come she wasn't considerate enough to tell me their might be cross contamination, why isn't she considerate for the fact that kids in my sons class are allergic to peanuts and could have a reaction, why isn't she considerate for the fact that I have to now find another bakery two days before his birthday party. Then she states I never asked for peanut free cupcakes till this conversation but yet she wrote we told u the cupcakes would be peanut free. Do yourself a favor and find another bakery that has better business practices. Since his big blow up I've emailed to bakeries and told them the same thing I need a label that says peanut free and they responded we cannot provide that as their bakery carries nuts! It is that simple!!! Communication and good business practices! It says everyone a headache! It absolutely disgusts me that she doesn't even care about the safety of toddlers! Hopefully this will be a lesson to Karen that not every dollar is worth the headache! May this be a lesson to have better communication skills and not try to get over on hardworking people who only want what they paid for and what they ask for! May the be a lesson to Karen to take responsibility and even if she has to take a lost to do the right thing!

  This review is going based on service from 4 years ago, FYI.
  
  I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my wife's baby shower. I couldn't come into the store, but Karen and I communicated by email. Communication and execution of the order was nice and smooth.
  
  We've gone back twice for the Santa and Easter bunny events. I've tried to stop in for a coffee for myself or a cupcake for my wife, but unfortunately I always am around too early or too late (the store has good operating hours... it's me that doesn't!).
  
  Would definitely order from here again!
